(To make this article readable for the new friends I met here, from now on, I will be writing in English.
Sorry if it's not that convenient for you, but I think all you guys in Taiwan can handle it, eh?:))

It was 4:02 pm, 7th, Aug

"Excuse me, does this way go to the exit of the station?" the girl who looks like Asian asked me, it's been sooo many years since I was called to halt to talk seriously, lol. "I think so, cuz there's only one way to the outside." I answered. On answering, I thought if she is a student majoring in design. "Are you going to the workhop in Boisbuchet?" she asked again when I started wo wonder about it. Her name is Jee (Jihyun actually, but she will appear as Jee), from Korea, just a 2 years older than I. We sat down on the ground in front of the station of Poitiers, to start wondering again about if the people sitting around are just like us, and to know that just like me, she also signed up for the other workshop, but it was cancelled due to the shortage of the participants. We would go to the workshop leaded by Doshi-Levien. Sharing the one day trip in Paris, I felt I was brave and fortunate to know I was fitting everything quite well but she had to hang out with friends there in the previous days. Just on the 3rd, it was just her birthday, so she celebrated at Eiffel Tower, lol. Not knowing what, who, and where to wait for there, we asked a janitor only to know she doesn't speak French. We just looked like homeless people.

Afiter a long while, another girl joined us. She introduced herself as Andrea. From Spain, she's thinking about a change from industrial design to fashion design. Now we had 3 people to wait. Around uh...I think about 4:2x pm, Fred called me to say that his traiAt 5:something, Fred and theeother 2 Taiwanese participants (named Chichi and Mei, nice to see Taiwanese in here) arrived at Poitiers, after getting another can of soda from the shop. Another 2 euro...that's quite ok, I think. Then we got on the blue bus to Boibuchet. On the description doc it said the trip goes for a hour, but it was almost twice as it said. We kept talking about the odds and ends about Taiwan and Korea. (Now i know LG and Samsung is as evil as....lol) The domaine of Boibuchet is "hidden" in the countryside. With a big grass area surrounding it, the place look amazing. A river and a lake is near in the area. Putting stuff in our rooms, it would be dinner time!!

n is about to delay for about 30 mins. It's siad that the there was a bomb!?? That was why it delayed...come on...and it happened once in a while!? Don't know... The receptionist to the station is another Korean girl, holding a simple piece of paper saying Boisbuchet workshop.

Fred and I shared the same room, with 4 beds, so it felt so big for us, but it was at the end of the corrider on the second floor. (well it's 1 floor if the ground floor is 0.) The first meal in the domaine has red wine!! How can I do with so wine...?(Anyone who knows me is aware of my poor capapcity I have...gr) Not really thinking too much, I had it, as much as the volume I can take once. I forgot what the meal really was, but I think it doesn't matter with my hunger and the exotic flavor it had. I have no food culture shock. The staff will announce the meal by knock a big gong. When the dinner was finished, all of us gathered at the bonfire to drink and talk until 1 am.

It's a nice start on the first night, here I am, BB!
p.s. I tried to take pictures of the stars, but not a good result come out. gr...my poor D80
p.p.s. The weather is coool here, and even if it rains, it's still feeling better here. Unlike like my home, you don't need air-con here, when it's sunny!

(updated on 14th, Aug)

What happened on the next morning (8th, Aug, Happy Taiwan's Father's Day) is the tour around the domaine. We have many houses, workshop, barn, and lake. Many of them were built with recycled materials, and many with bamboo. On the other side are the lake, but the point I haven't mentioned is that we can go canoing in the lake!! So exciteed to have the expectation,:P

We started disscussion in the bamboo house after lunch. Jonathan and Nipa are the directors of the brand called Dochi Levien. They started their....uh, (see more detail here.) Themed as "Discover, Frame, and Share a viewpoint in Boisbuchet". We started to develop ideas for on hour from 2:30 to 4, pretty much, I think. and not a really good idea came out. We only had the direction to focus on the lake, sunlight, and the expectations about "coming to Boisbuchet". Another conclusion is that we were going to make a big piece of work collectively, but we didn't know what the thing was going to be?

We have Alessandro, Sonia, Catherine, Andrea, Jee, Chichi, Mei, and I in our group. Aless fist gave the idea of bubble on the water, and there were arguments about whether to have the user touch water, and whether to get them inside water. Some said there would be fear in front of it, but others glad to jump in, cuz it would give the sense of let go. We decided to make another disscussion later after dinner, but it didn't happened, lol. The work of the 1st day ended like this, but we thought about making it clear the very next day.

You can easily see the difference between us (Taiwanese and European, I mean.) During the week, our workshop starts at 10am after breakfast(8:30-9:30), and we work till lunch, which is about 12:30, and we would go to work again at 14:xx, maybe. Dinner starts later than our country, 20:30, I think, but we have coffee break from 16:30 to pretty much 17:xx. So the total work hour will be...2.5+2.5+3.5...8.5 hours per day, maybe? Rest is way sooo important here than back home. It's not we don't want to rest, but just the culture and different attitude. After dinner, because we have wine, so there wouldn't be any work. But in Asia, we cannot really rest until the case is done. We are more desperate to see the progress. The thing I have learned is that rest should be more important. And I went to bed with alchohol in my body everynight.

(15th, Aug)
Before other things else goes on, let me tell you somethings about the new people I met with.
Jee, of course, as the first person I met in France, is a city girl from Korea.("Go away!!!" she would yell at the bees, :P) She just loves red wine ,and says the time the workshop ends is the time back to reality, LOL.
Andrea, the second girl to had joined in, has to eat specially prepared food bcuz of her health. Each time when I see her injecting on her skin, I would have a sense of....hmm.... She is also nice when it comes to talking in English, "It feels like you want the others to be out of it when you don't speak English..", "Keep that in mind, Mike", this is how Jee would add, lol
Lily, same as Andrea, she comes from Spain, who asked me to take photos that can beat the super models with my "Super Camera" for sooo many times. I think she has sooo much passion in life, and WINE(She said she never got drunk in Boisbuchet, cuz the best wine is in Bourdeaux?)
Catherine, a teacher from Germany, the only one who hates Facebook and loves Taiwan so much by pretending that she's Taiwanese. She has been to Boisbuchet for many times, giving the idea of the expectation for us.
Alessandro, an Italian interior designer who was able to do speedy design jobs, with a brother who was pro in computer. He and Sonia work together in their company. They look really close and sweet, lol. I was really amazed by his works done by his studio, C'est Moi. Visit his website here. And he has a Nikon D90, which is a nice one, he was having 2 fantastic lenses, with good illuminosity. We talked about photography and shared the experience and skills. He is really active in design.
Sonia, the beautiful girl from Italy, is the only one who had seen my parents in the computer room. We laughed a lot with my eyebrows, (maybe, :P)
Kelly, an American modern artist, who took the workshop of Choi to have an escape. Nice of her to record my eyebrow wave show.
Chichi, graduate student from Shih-Chien University. Also major in ID, I think she has really good skills to design. With the positive attitude all the week, she will do very well in the field.
Mei, a director and announcer of a local radio station in ChangHwa. With 2 kids just going to high school, she comes here due to the idea of let go, maybe. She doen't understand how computer works, and always trying to borrow others' pc for skype, which was kinda annoying, but I think she's still lucky to be here.
There are just the people I meet in my workshop, but there are more. Therry and his fmaily(Gloria, Theodore, and their mother), Alexandre, Fred, Vicky, and so on. Sorry for those whom are not mentioned, but you are all my good friends.

The things we have after dinner are different every day. From Monday to Friday, there's bonfire talk, presentation of the designers, porky(party, to be specific), rest(cuz we tried to get up at 7 on Friday), and the final presentation. We didn't have much time to do our work, cuz there are only 5 days to finish it. The presentation on Tuesday night was kinda like a disaster with my cold. I was really having a bit fever, for which I should be responsible for. I hung around the fire on Monday with only one shirt on me, so it would have been the reason of getting the cold. Dierct sleep right after...The poky night was something I have never tried before.(Dancing is a difficult thing to me, believe me, but you have to do that, and I enjoyed a lot!!) We started by dressing up just before dinner. Knowing that the theme is dead celebs, I really didn't know what to do. We got back after Fred tend to become Bruce Lee and I finally got to be the Joker.:P Andrea and Jee had become John Lennon and Ono Yoko. They looked exactly like them!! The other side comes two Amy Whinehouse, Chichi and Lily. With the emergency makeup, they were bitchy enough just like her...!! After the parky, I was almost drunk, but NOT YET! Happy that Fred held me back, :P. The forth and the fifth nights was no party,...I was hoping for another, what a childish thought(?)

The day passed so fast that my memeries are mixing each other..,but the things are still clear. We continued making the hammok on the last few days. Ale made the pontoon with Jonathan, and others helped making the rest of things. We had to measure the wood strips, with 4mm in thickness and the length more than 2 meters. I worked the whole morning to cut the wood plank on Wednesday, and continued on drilling, putting cable ties, and measuring, with Andrea and Jee. At the same time, Chichi, Mei, and Catherine worked together on the 3M frame, in order to enhance the experience of light and vision. The material will give a nice reflection and color when you see through it. We wanted to hang them on the trees in the forests. With canoes(trouble kids, eh? :P), on the first 2 days, we could go to the other side faster. And from then on, we kept our efforts on assembling the parts of it...Finally, it was assemvled on Friday. With the help of Alessandro(another on from the staff) and Jonathan, but the presentation was delayed...

Presentation started before the sky got dark, so it was still good. We started with Choi's group, including Fred. With not so much explanatio, Choi wanted his participants to make the furniure with tranquility. They all did a nice job, with all our applaud. As for our workshop, Jonathan also presented for our 2 projects. We were to present 3 of them, but the 3M was cancelle ddue to many reasons. The workshop ended on Saturday, with some rumers going on about the 2 designers from RCA...but never mind, ask me if you want to know, LOL...

Saturday was a sad day, cuz everyboody was leaving...but I was the one who was still staying...Lily and Andrea left later. Jee gave me the bottle of red wine that she had brought with her Vitamin, :P. Lily asked me to take super model like photos and Andrea gave me a biggg hug. On Sunday, Ale and Sonia also left, so there was only me with the staff. The dinner was one of the best dinners in BB. We had ice cream with the black berries I picked from the forest, and smashed cookies. The best way to eat it, introduced by Sonia, is to take every element of it into a spoon, and have it all at once in your mouth. And the main food is pasta and Korean Pancake! Nice and fun it was...!!
They left on Sunday, but I have't finished the blog.
Remind me if you are not mentioned, or something I forgot. There are just sooo many details. Or leave me a message.
